About This Video Project

Our recurring client AHRC hired us to make a series of videos to show at their gala. One of the videos we produced was an honoree video highlighting the work of Tom and Ellen Moore, longtime supporters and volunteers dedicated to helping AHRC and recipients of the Margaret L. Riva Lifetime Achievement Award.

This interview style honoree video features multiple testimonials with past and present members of the organization as well as Margaret L. Riva’s family members who have also been helped by AHRC’s services.

Learn more about the organization’s decades-long work through our combination of multiple interviews using client submitted photos for visuals and matching it with emotionally moving music and motion graphics.

The Margaret Reaver Award is given to individuals who are reflective of Margaret’s commitment of service and history to the organization. We are honored to present this award when indeed there are notable individuals who are deserving of one of our highest honors. The last time this award was given was in 2016, and the recipient of that award was Margaret Reaver herself. And everything that Margaret Reaver captured with her lifetime of devotion has been carried on by Ellen and Tom Moore. I think there’s probably unanimous agreement among people who know them that this is an award they truly, truly deserve. Tom and Ellen Moore reflect all of what is good and best about AHRC-NASAW. They’re dedicated, they’re committed, they are the lifeblood of this organization. Tom and Ellen are just two special people. They understand that you don’t advocate for one individual, you advocate for the population. And that’s what they’ve done over the years. Tom Moore was the president of the state organization. He was the president of our local chapter, AHRC-NASAW. No one has a bigger heart than Tom Moore. He cares deeply about this organization as if it was his family. And year in, year out, his enthusiasm, his commitment, his all-in has never changed. And I don’t think it ever will change as long as he draws breath. Tom draws attention because of his personality. It’s something you cannot miss. But Ellen is there, not only to back him up, but to do her own quiet work, oftentimes behind the scenes. Ellen is involved in everything you can imagine, committees, she was on the auxiliaries. You call on Ellen, you call on Tom, they come as a team. They were also personal and close friends of Margaret Riva. We’re very honored that Margaret’s children are supported by this organization. They’re very involved and very connected, and I know that Tom and Ellen are still very much connected to Margaret’s children as well. They are what I would call people who are always willing to go the extra mile. And it is not an overstatement to say that we would not be where we are today without people like Tom and Ellen Moore, who have given so much of themselves to ensure the success of others. Tom and Ellen, congratulations on a well-deserved award. Couldn’t have gone to two better people. We are all very grateful for what both of you have done to carry forward the mission over your many years. And I’m sure for many years to come, you will continue that work. So Lisa and I extend you our warmest congratulations. We love you. Congratulations for Tom and Ellen. I love you, Tom and Ellen. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Congratulations, Tom and Ellen, on receiving the Margaret L. Riva Lifetime Achievement Award.
