About This Video Project
Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock (UUCSR) has hired us to shoot, produce, and run the live A/V during their monthly Soulful Sundown service. We have an ongoing relationship with the great people at UUCSR and that began with a recruitment video we made for them.
We were also tasked with producing awareness videos to attract more church members to join a special monthly event called Soulful Sundown. The secondary purpose of these videos is to lead Soulful Sundown attendees towards interest in the church itself. This non-direct approach is more welcoming than the standard church awareness videos we see in other places.
Virtual video production is the perfect solution for capturing high-quality musical performances and music promotional videos, without the need for in-person shoots like this one.
Our virtual video production process allows musicians to perform remotely by guiding them to record themselves performing their parts at home with a mobile device and have them upload the recordings to our studio. This means that no matter where you are in the world, you can still share your music and reach a wider audience.
Born out of necessity from the pandemic, virtual video production has changed the game with showcasing your music when the musicians cannot perform in the same room.
After every service, we craft these short social media-friendly videos to showcase the powerful messages being shared by Reverend Jennifer Brower and the amazing music being performed by The Cosmic Orchestra. The videos are a mix of spoken word and songs that capture the essence of the night for those who did not attend. They are used as recruitment tools for new members, a way to spread UUCSR’s spiritual message and to keep the event fresh in attendees’ minds.
