About This Video Project

The band 3 Decades Rewind hired us to create a video promoting their live performance. This was actually not a live performance but made to seem like it was as they took stage to put on a show for the cameras. This video would be used as a sales and marketing tool to help book shows and promote the band on social media.

In this video we used multiple cameras to film multiple takes of the band performing various songs from the 60s 70s and 80s. We utilized a partial audience of friends and family members to sit in on some camera angles in order to emulate a true live performance at the beautiful Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center in Westhampton, NY.

We incorporated many genre-themed effects as well as text on screen to cover some of the main messaging the band wanted to get across during this promo, highlighting some of the bands and eras that they cover throughout their shows.
