Video editing & post production is where everything comes together. It is where we take your brand’s message and turn it into marketing gold. It’s also where the most time will be spent on your project. Here are a few of the elements that make up post production.
Post Production Services
Video Editing
The editing process is where all the footage compiled for you is turned it into a shining gem. A great editor will make your people look like rock stars, shape your message and build a story that will be the backbone of your video.
Motion Graphics | Animation
A lot of the time there are concepts you can’t get across with live visuals. That’s where motion graphics come in. Motion graphics can help to explain your new app or product, communicate stats in a visually interesting way or even communicate the core concepts of your company. They are a powerful marketing tool that can make your company stand out from the competition.
Audio Mastering
As we mentioned before, audio is a vital part of delivering your brand’s message. Capturing great audio on the day of production is of the utmost importance but is fine-tuned and perfected in post. Audio sweetening can eliminate background noise, bring out sounds we couldn’t hear before or even give your speaker’s voice that extra boost it needs.
Music Supervision
Choosing the right music for your marketing video can be the difference between a success and a dud. Music supervisors spend years discovering what type of tracks work and which fall flat. That expertise is important in the picking process because it allows them to make decisions quickly. It is all about finding the right song(s) for your project that will properly accompany the visuals and messaging, ultimately inspiring your viewers to take action with your brand.
Color Correction | Color Grading
When we approach the final touches of the post production phase, color is critical to allow your marketing video to stand out. Color correction is a process of adjusting color, contrast, exposure and other parameters that affect the final look of the video. The goal is to match every shot to even out the color. For example, if one shot has a magenta tint and the next has a green tint, they would have to be adjusted to match each other so they both look the same, depending on the look that is sought after. Once the shots have been evened out, the color grading process begins. Color grading is the color style used to polish the entire feel of the video. For example, we may want to give a subtle blue tint with low contrast to a video to evoke a cold rustic look.
Video Encoding | Exporting
Once the video is complete and approved, we need to create a high-quality online friendly version to distribute through digital marketing channels. We can deliver any type of compressed video file needed or deliver our default high-quality compressed mp4 format which works on almost any platform. In addition, we can deliver full-quality uncompressed masters for your media library archive.
