About This Video Project

Make-A-Wish Foundation Suffolk County hired us to create this video to be part of a virtual live event and fundraising effort to help them continue bringing positivity to kids with cancer through fulfilling their wishes.

We filmed Blake and his mother at their house for a half-day shoot. After interviewing Blake’s mom and hearing their emotional story, we interviewed Blake and asked him if he could show us around a bit.

We filmed Blake as he spent time doing some of the things he loves. The most exciting part was seeing the beautiful camper that he received for his wish. We spent time with Blake in and out of the camper and were able to capture him enjoying some other fun activities throughout the day. Although Blake’s sickness caused him to have limited use of his legs during the time of filming this, he had a positive attitude and found joy in the things that he was capable of doing. It was inspirational to witness.

We used our visuals along with images and videos from the family taken before, during, and after treatment to help tell his story. Blake is a strong young man and a very kind individual. It was a pleasure to meet him and his family and get to spend the day with them.
