We shot and produced this music video for folk/country artist Matt Marshak for his new single “Simple Man”.

Matt is a really unique guitar player/vocalist, whose style bridges virtually all genres. He has two #1 songs as a jazz guitarist, his own line of Pulaski furniture called “Rhythm and Home”, and has toured the world. We produced a video for his amazing jazz song “North Carolina” but “Simple Man” marked a whole new direction for Matt. When we listened to the song, we felt strong folk and country vibes, so we set out with Matt to create a video that would bring his newfound style to life.

The video was shot in one day and tells the story of a hard-working musician who wants to make the little time he spends with his family, special and memorable. So, he sets out on a journey to buy a special gift for his daughter. One of the coolest things about shooting the video was the amazing vintage Chevrolet truck Matt drove while filming. It brought authenticity to the finished product you cannot fake.

Matt shared the video on Facebook and has over 225,000 views on the social network.
